In the past, the Flying Needles Quilt Guild has constructed a beautiful quilt every two years to be raffled off. These funds support guild projects, such as community service, library books, and basically most every function of the guild. The quilts are shown as public places, such as Saturday in the Park, in Valparaiso, the Fort Walton Beach Library, most every quilt shop in the county, and well as the guilds, and in several guilds in nearby counties. The 2003 quilt was won by a resident of Crestview, FL.
