The cost of this class is $5, payable to the instructor at the time of the workshop.
You will need as many foundation pieces as you want your quilt size. Keep in mind it takes 4 blocks to make a star. My foundation pieces were cut at 6” giving me a 5-1/2” finished block. You can make any size block you want. The foundation piece becomes the star. For my quilt, I’m making 100 blocks giving me 25 stars and a quilt without borders measuring 55” x 55”.
Supply List:
You’ll need LOTS of strings. I cut mine at 1-1/2” but you can use any size. 1” , 1-1/2”, and 2” makes a good looking string. And you can mix your string sizes too.
