October 22, 2026 - Zentangle Art for Quilters: One Stroke at a Time

Discover how simple lines, curves, and shapes can become beautiful designs for quilting! Zentangle is a relaxing and enjoyable method of creating intricate patterns—one easy stroke at a time. No artistic talent or drawing experience is needed. If you can draw a line, a curve, and a dot, you can Zentangle! “In Zentangle, there are NO mistakes!”
In this class, you will learn several basic patterns that are transferable to hand or machine quilting. Our goal is to get three tiles done. Come ready to relax, create, and discover the artist you didn’t know you were!
Kits will be available for $8. The kit includes:
1 Micron black pen 1 Zentangle pencil
1 white charcoal pencil 2 tortillons
2 white tiles 1 gray tile
1 Renaissance tile
***If you would like to add color to your tiles, bring pastel pencils, colored pencils, gel pens or whatever else you may have on hand to play with. We will have Zentangle related door prizes during the workshop!
